UrAssist Customer Service

Symptom Procedure
1) No lights (and/or yellow low-battery light) when unit power switch is turned 'ON'. 1) Charge battery with supplied charger. HINT: The battery-protect circuit inside the UrAssist will not allow a fast-charge on a defective or fully depleted battery. If the charge indicator shows GREEN when the charger is first connected, the battery may be fully depleted. Leave the charger connected to the UrAssist for up to 24 hours. The circuit will automatically switch to fast charge (RED charge indicator lights) once the battery level has reached a safe point, then back to trickle charge once the battery is fully charged.

2) BLUE pump light comes on when the door is opened (in AUTO mode) or when the PUMP button is pressed (in MANUAL mode), but the pump does not come on. 2) Ensure that the outer canvas carry bag is in place, and the side zippered access panel is closed completely. The pump will not operate if the side panel is not properly in position.

3) Pump comes on, but the fluid remains in the cup (or the cup drains slowly). 3) Check all tubing connections at the cup and at the inlet connector on the UrAssist to ensure airtight fit. Also check the cup and tube for blockage (obstruction inside the cup, kinked tubing, etc.).

4) 'Bag-full' warning light & beeper comes on before the collection bag is more than 2/3 full (pump may also shut down before bag is full). 4) Bag vent clogging - REPLACE COLLECTION BAG.

5) Collection bag overfills before 'bag-full' alarm sounds. 5) Ensure that the collection bag is properly installed and hung onto the bag hooks on the UrAssist. Also, ensure that the clear, plastic flap is positioned IN FRONT OF the black sensor arm.
